Jersey Girl (2004): just another mediocre movie. although i'm not particularly a fan of liv tyler, i did like her kooky performances. ben was just average, and the daughter at first glance seems cute and all, but then you realize that normal little girls don't act that way. i have a huge pet peeve about child actors. there are maybe 3 in the world that are any good. story was okay, however i noticed a few plot holes. all in all, nothing special. don't see. you don't even get to see j-Lo's fine ass in it. kind of a let down.
The French Connection (1971): this won best picture??? i love gene hackman to death, but this was not a good movie by today's standards at all. the entire plot was completely overshadowed by either a guy chasing a guy, or a car chasing a guy, or a car chasing a car, or a car chasing a subway. and let me tell you, these chase scenes are no Ronin chase scenes. i just didn't see what made this film so great. oh yeah, don't even get me started on the ending. as for that i'm just clueless. don't see.
exams start up this week. wednesday exam for constitution and thursday exam for family law. family law is gonna kill everyone so i'm not too worried cuz no matter what i will die from it. jess and i are going to study our butts off tonight. first snow hit yesterday on the mountains. now its freezing like holy hell outside. pics to follow. on a much lighter note, the fugees are getting back together according to wyclef. that pretty much made my day yesterday. that's about all there is today. gonna be a good day though. not much class, work should be slow, dancin shoes on! i'm finally done with my nesquik from costco. i will never buy one of those again until i'm like 30 and there is truly no hope for me then. i swear, 5 parts chocolate, 1 part milk was starting to get to me. chocolate milk running through the veins can't be good for you. i think i'm gonna start a new blog and put all my deepest darkest secrets there. of course i'll never tell anyone what the url is. but it'll be out there so good luck finding it. it'll be more for me and getting some things off my chest. maybe other peeps will read and i'll have no clue who they are. it will be some good non-fiction for them to follow. as for this one, yes, i'll keep it going as well. my public demands it.
